I called six different GameStop until I finally got someone to physically do a trade-in over the phone and tell me for sure. It is per game not per session

Buy a cheap heat gun from harbor freight. Heat up the solder on the motherboard. Be careful around the capacitors. Should be done in less then 15 minutes

Good deal for older low value games. Getting 7 bucks ( store credit) for call of duty games that are 3 years old is a steal. Games must have a base trade value of 2 dollars to be eligible.

Try the towel trick or similar temp fixes then trade it in before it dies again. They'll probably give you like $4 for a working 360 with all cables and a controller though.
