You are correct that these are lower end Klipsch but keep in mind that JBL lower ends are absolute trash compared to Klipsch lower ends

Depends... as stand alone speakers or as surround ?? If part of a 5.1~ 9.1 set up. They need to be Timbre matched. Klipsch can be very bright.

I'd just buy a Polk CS10, It's got 5.25" drivers, close enough of timber match for the M60 and can be had for under $100. I think refurbs from Polk are $70. Or buy a used CS1 for $50.

Those surrounds will be fine. They're just for effect and aren't nearly as critical as LCR as far as matching goes.
