Hey, just on a different note, had a clarifying question. Can you sell these lenses in the market? Where and how much would they sell for? I already have Nikkor DX 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6 ED VR II lens...

Thank you for this excellent feedback about your experience! Another longtime photographer friend told me similar things regarding his transition from Nikon to Canon, and he, too, compared the 80D to...

What I'll say is this: I've shot Nikon for 15 years, after the big photographers I was friends with or worked for back then recommended them exclusively. I was an art major and did a lot with...

Does that 70-300mm not have VR? If not I think you would want VR on a zoom lens unless you're using a tripod. FWIW I just bought a refurb VR version for $150 during the 13% ebay bucks deal which...

The DX-P 18-55 comes in VR only, the 70-300 DX-P (the P stands for pulse motor) comes in VR and non VR version. There are no "5 variations". Your statement "arent the best quality" is incorrect as...

I did MY RESEARCH based on REAL PHOTOGRAPHERS usage and experiences. Canon has BY FAR the best auto focus around. Peter McKinnon even said if he ever switched from canon he doesn’t know how he’d...

We can agree to disagree but saying there's only one flavor of each lens is very misinforming. If it's one flavor for the kit lens, perhaps, but some places upgrade their kits with better lenses....

You are mistaken as these DX-P lenses are Nikon's latest release and get rave reviews. I have both the IS model and non IS model of the 70-300 and the 18-55 comes in one flavor only..IS. Do some...

Thanks for the link. I've checked out several auto-comparison sites, and it seems depending on which features they rank more heavily, these two cameras seem to be close on paper. But I'm more...

uhh? https://www.dxomark.com/Cameras/Compare/Side-by-side/Canon-EOS-80D-versus-Nikon-D5600___1076_1139 DXOmark rates the d5600 higher across the board. it is lower FPS, and a "lower tier" but...

Give me a break. I use both of those “undesirable” lenses. There’s nothing wrong with them. I shoot sports photography on the weekends with fantastic results.

But it is the older 18-55 lens, the new one is much better. It is the lower 70-300 lens, there's much better ones. Neither are desirable to anyone that has been taking photos for over a few months....

Both lenses are the very desirable DX-P and their latest and best kits lenses ever. No one complains about the 18-55 that is at least somewhat competent.
