The 413 does a lot already and is more than enough to have around for various grinding jobs. The 414 is better for those day-long grinding sessions. Also great if you have other Flexvolt.

I am a handy man around house and like tools. Should I buy this or buy the less expensive DCG413 mode?

You called them 60V batteries and the other guy said they were 60V 6Ah batteries. I was merely pointing out that they aren't "60V" batteries . They are Flexvolt.

True it was a local deal only. Wrong product was shipped and under contract they get to keep what ever was shipped to them. Needless to say they had a pallet full and they were gine in a day.

You're basically paying ~$110 for the grinder considering the batteries resell for ~$85 each. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Actually you're both wrong. These are Flexvolt batteries. Meaning they operate at 20V in 20V tools and 60V in 60V tools. These batteries are 6Ah at 20V and 2Ah at 60V.

Epic fail. Not a true slickdealer...we don't feel buyer's remorse if it's a slickdeal. And that sounds crazy good

Go for it 2 batteries and charge alone are worth it. I passed up on a circular saw, drill, 2 flex battery kit , charge and rolling case a few weeks ago for 200.00 been regretting it ever since. ...

Nah, thats the exact blower I have. The newer gen turbine one. You're right, it comes with 60v/3ah // 20v/9ah.... but these should work in that too, although they're smaller.

Is this brushless or brushed? The description does not mention brushless, I assume it is brushed.

These are 2.0ah @ 60v and 6.0ah @20v. If you don't know what you're talking about, don't muddy up the thread. Watts be Watts, battery can't simply grow.

Tru i would def go for it then but jus so you know these are the the 6/2ah batteries and not the 9/3ah battery that comes with the flexvolt blower. Unless your talking bout the 20v blower that jus...

Yea, the main reason why I wouldn't mind spending a little bit more even if its overkill is because I have the 60V blower and it chews through the battery.

This is a pro grade use tool. Very powerful prolly overkill for what you need but for the price its very nice. Lower end grinders with batteries may cost just as much. And if your interested in any...
