These cables are the USB 2.0 which is 480 Mbps. They're fast charging, but at USB 2.0 speed to transfer data.

had two of these with great luck. IMO they actually charge quite fast. Been going solid for a year so far. Not into the technical jargon much but charges faster than other off brands.
