No. You need the 40v battery. This deal is for the 18v. If you don't also have a 40v string trimmer, I suggest you keep an eye out for the 40v trimmer with 4Ah battery, as it frequently pops up...

One bonus of the 4ah HP is the slightly smaller size. They are a 4ah in the older 3ah case which is a slight bonus. I love them.

2-pack 9 ah sale was a way better deal at 140$ (7.77$ per amp hour). I hope it comes back soon. The 4 ah deal seems to be on par with the recent 6ah deal, both are 10$ per amp hour.
