Good deal. I have one of these, it has decent sound quality. Since it’s direct drive the speed is always consistent. Also, it weighs a ton.

I think they would do well for that purpose. The main issue smaller woofers have is that they can't move enough air to reproduce bass as the volume increases, but if you don't plan to listen to them...
