Nobody made those laws. It's an Amazon policy. Kershaw has said so much themselves. You can still buy these knives from any other vendor. Maybe read up a little before sounding like an "idiot" .

So unless you have huge hands, this little one opens pretty easily one-handed. It has a little post you can maneuver with your thumb. But yeah it doesn't have an assist / spring on it like my 3"...
