Yes once it kicks into digital zoom the quality degrades fast, really so in low light but that's expected for a phone. Hopefully we will see more along the lines of 8-10x optical zoom.

LG G6 has no IS and f/2.4 lens..pass. The S1 has a substantially larger CX sensor, able to crop tp 2.7x with ultra fast AF and burst at 60fps leaving the LG in the dust.
