Whats the date of manufacture on your drives? Both of mine show SEP-2011, almost 8 years old. Am leaning towards returning both and getting a newer drive.

Yes, yours has two times less hours than mine. Full surface scan of a 3TB disk should take about 7 hours. If it took much less than that it wasn't the test you want
