I would wait for icelake version which will release early next month. At this price you should get icelake with LPDDR4x ram. That should have better performance and battery life....

The one in this post has a 1TB vs 512GB SSD.for the 9380.
Although, I'd pay the extra $100 for the newer core and compromise on the storage space.

I presume it's due to the infinityedge screen. You have to compromise somewhere if you want to get flashy and minimize the bezel size.
