My numbers are coming from a Kill-A-Watt attached to a 4-year old dorm refrigerator. When the fridge is on, it runs ~160 watts. When the compressor first kicks on, it will "burst" around 550-600...

Power went out last night. 1000/800W Sportsman was comfortable and dry in the shed. Checked gas (that has been in the generator for quite a while); probably enough for a short outage but it was...

In all seriousness, no it likely would not work at all. Tesla’s are very finicky if trying to work with any generator (portable or larger). They have a sensitive ground sensing method where a stake /...

I don't know how old your fridge is (or where you are pulling these numbers from), but a modern refrigerator is going to draw a LOT less than that. Likely 1-3 amps, or 120-360 watts. They also have...

Sorry, I had to log in to comment on this so people will have realistic expectations. This will certainly NOT run either of these appliances. A larger refrigerator will likely draw 400-800 watts...

I don't have specifics on your furnace but gas furnaces draw very little power, they are normally tied to 15 or 20 amp 120 volt circuits. 15 amps is 1800 watts or 20 amps is 2400 watts. Realistically...

I bought one even though I (think) I know better. Just too cheap not to check out one of these and put it to the test. Probably end up flipping it on CL for a slight loss afterward. Thanks OP. If...

Allows you to connect two identical generators doubling the wattage. So two 800 watt generators would give you 1600 watt output.

It should run a full size fridge too, they don't use much power (100-200W). Could also run a smaller microwave.
