SATA is also better for laptop battery life. If you have a laptop with a place to put a 2.5" drive, you might as well use a SATA if you care about this. Although there are laptops that are able to...

Prices are ALWAYS dropping... I mean, I paid $200 for my 40MB, yes forty megabyte hard drive. I guess I should have waited some ~27 years as I could have snagged this... the 5.25" and 3.5" floppys...

honestly, that seems too much money. Seems every 12 months the prices drop, last year at this time you would have paid the same price for a 1TB. A 1 TB will probably be my maximum size anyhow,...

Still holding on to refurbished OCZ Agility 3 ssd's bought in 2013. Run RAID 0 and haven't had any problem. Almost bought a larger ssd, but my curiosity drives me to find out how long they will last.

Pretty sure that's not how math works. But yes you're right. I was mistaken as they both max out the sata 3 port.

This is a fine OS drive. As far as SATA drives go they don't get much better, and they don't really get noticeably faster. Samsung drives are technically faster, but you'll never notice in a personal...
