Are you sure it's the same style as this one and not a gel infused/topped one? Everyone I've ever talked to who has had a straight memory foam mattress says that they're too hot in the summer.

I personally prefer thinner and then choose my own topper. I get a $100 6-incher from walmart and then put my favorite 3-incher topper on it. End result is a cheap, perfect comfort, queen mattress...

Bought a twin and king zinus 10 and 12 inch both were rock hard and were a nightmare to return.. call center is in india... no way to talk to anyone in us or where they are located in sd.

I have the 12" and 10" versions. Great value for the price. I'm sure the 8" is very firm and being I'm 6"3, 215lb I'd opt for the 10" at least, and I'm a back sleeper.
