Not a great deal. Almost 1600 and no 17" screen? Last gen CPU and MaxQ (don't care how you OC it)..

A 1080 is a 150w part and the MaxQ version is between 90-110w. You’ll be power limited before you get to 150w 1080 performance. Still a much closer margin than what we have now 👍

In for one, age of empires 2 definitive addition is just around the corner, gotta get 1000 fps to stay competitive
A 144hz gaming laptop will never come with a 4K screen in the near future. 4K you would only get 60hz which is no bueno for gaming especially st a competitive level. This laptop is purely for gaming.

why oh why does it only have a HD 1080 screen and not a 4k screen! I actually was interested in it for video editing and could use the extra screen space.

If this didn't have 'Zephrus' in the title, it would be getting thumbed down into the core of the Earth.

For your use case. No, your paying for a powerful dedicated graphics card and display with high refresh rate with g-sync none of which will really benefit what you're doing. If you plan to game then...

I don't think this is better than a 2070 MQ + 9750h for less. The 2070MQ is apparently 4% better. Three have been deals for this combo for $200 less on this site.

I bought mine used off of eBay and maxed out the ram and plopped in a bigger nvme drive so I figured I would repaste while it was taken apart. Paste job was terrible too so I'm glad I went the extra...
Shouldn’t have to repaste to be honest. For the price it should be ready to go. I got this years model of this laptop and it maxes out at 88 when pushing it to the limit. I also hate the bezels on...

IDK about the worst. Surely it's not as bad as the gigabyte aero? Shit was so mushy, provided no feedback, and frequently had defects where keys don't register a key stroke. RMA'd mine and resold it...

I have last years version of this Zephyrus with the same keyboard layout.. while it is squashed down you do get used to it and i type and game just fine on it. The big upside of this design is the...
MSI the best? Wish MSI wouldn’t flip the morherboard upside down is why I don’t wanna switch to them.

Lol they really dropped the ball on this keyboard. I feel sorry for the guy that orders this and feels how awkward the keyboard is once he gets it in hand. It truly is the worst keyboard ever in...
Eww this model had the worst keyboard and touchpad layout known to man. Bummer cause I like the specs. Just can’t do the keyboard.

Primarily form-factor in this case, I think. It's quite thin and light for what it's packing.
