These kits r still out there for $69! 2 in west GA and 2 in south GA. The 2 batteries, while nothing special, r probably worth $69 alone. 3 yr warranty.

I purchased the impact version for $69 and it is worth every penny. Very powerful for the size and super handy for around the house.

They actually introduced a lot of 12v tools well after the 20v line. 12v tools are much more compact and light, you give up a lot of run time and some power, but not everyone needs a monster drill...

I researched a bit - Xtreme is an impact driver, which uses keyed bits rather than keyless chucks, so there are pros and cons of buying 12V Xtreme over this one, aren't there?
