I personally think with the dual core i5 the 16gb isnt really useful. Makes more sense with the quad core in the pro. Good deal still. This has better battery life too i think by a small margin

Virtual box won't be great. After all it's a dual-core (4 virtual cores/threads), but 16GB rescues it a bit. Dual boot probably just fine - it still has an intel processor after all.
