You don't know what you are talking about. If you don't want one with this resolution, then don't buy one. I don't care one way or another.

It has not "always" been HD. As someone who was shilling laptops in the early 2000s, "HD" got retroactively applied to all our 1280x720 screens, so that we could sell "HD" 720p TVs and "HD" 1024x768...

This resolution is HD. That is what it's called. 1080 is FHD, This has nothing to do with "floppies", but rather the modern terminology used to describe resolution. Actually the box for this will...

Okay when 1.44MB floppies came out they were called high density (HD) floppies, to distinguish from 800k and 400k ones. As a millennial by the time I learned what a floppy was it was no longer called...

I mean, if it's all you can afford, and you just have to have one, dive right in. I have an old Lenovo w/ the A4 processor, and, yeah, it works, but, Lordy, it can be slow, often. Consider saving...

If it's HD, why say it's low resolution? The two concepts are complete opposites. It looks like it was removed out of the title though.

Are people seriously complaining that $130 laptop doesn’t come with 1080p resolution? It’s a $130 laptop for crying out loud!

It has always been HD. When 1080 came out, then there was FHD (Full High Def) Now we have UHD or better. It's all HD, and for a budget laptop, no reason that this wouldn't work.

768 remains classified as HD to sell more laptops, not because it's HD in any way in the 2019 sense of the word.

This isn't a low resolution laptop. It's high resolution based on its specs. 1366x768 is HD. Also, why would I show you 4:3 laptops on sale? That request doesn't even make sense.

Show me all these 4:3 laptops that are on sale. Are you also going to claim that iPad pros are low resolution? Those have 4:3 screens.
