Netgear just spun off the Arlo brand into its own company, I'm not too optimistic my Arlo cams will last more than another year. I doubt they are profitable.

Thanks! I said “pretty much” as there are a few smaller brands that offer 24/7 cloud CVR as well (YI/Kami, Zmodo, meShare, etc.) but Nestcam and Arlo are the more established ones.

I own three, all about a year old now, and two of three have died and required warranty replacement already. And customer pays shipping cost for defective camera return. So, I would never buy another.
