Did anyone buy this or a similar machine? What is the RAM upgradeability like? The website says 32GB max, while a specsheet says 48GB max (upto 16Gb soldered on one slot). That's the bigger concern...

Hate to break it to you but it sounds like your current laptop is still pretty close to top range for U class processors. You likely won’t see much improvement.
