These have historically been known as an “outfeed roller”. I don’t know who wrote that awful description or decided to call it a roller stand, creating unnecessary confusion.

I have the HF one and it looks exactly the same as the Sears version. I use it as an outfeed roller for my table and miter saws. No complaints and I haven't had the locking screw come loose.
