I'm in NA also, but buy most games from other region's eShop since they are cheaper, yes to switch region's you can't have a balance, and for Mexico you can use PayPal just like in the US

You don't need dig1 if you are buying 2, it basically covers all of 1 and expands on it. Basically all about gameplay, story is just to set the scene.

It's actually a kinda of fun puzzle game, definitely worth 9 gold coins (and better than most of the rewards you can spend gold coins on through My Nintendo).
