What lenses do you use? Violet fringes are generally caused by chromatic aberration in the lens, not the camera. Try stopping down the lens and see if it's reduced. If this is the main issue you're...

I own an a7ii and I agree with this assessment. I love my camera, and with the LA-EA4 adapter I can use all my old minolta glass. If I were starting fresh I would go with an a 6400. I even...

Could you say more or post a link about the new color science? I have an a6000 and a7ii, and my biggest problem with them is the color. Which Sony models have better color sensors?

It doesn't. A camera sensor doesn't capture the full color spectrum (neither do your eyes for that matter). It captures light at three specific wavelengths (red, green, blue) and uses those to...

Good lens for most purposes. Sharp and accurate image reproduction on my Sony a6500. My only dislike is the occasional Barrel Distortion at shorter focal lengths of 18-20mm. While this can be...

LOL...far smaller?? Nope. At this focal length, some are close in size and weight. The Sony 18-135 shows a weight of 11.5 oz vs a Canon 18-135 STM (and a superior lens) at 13.8 oz. Pretty close.
