I just received my saw. Porter Cable batteries do not fit. I have a 20V Porter Cable drill. Batteries are similar in size. But, they are not keyed similarly. I'm not sure if B&D batteries will...

Just got this. Once charged it's actually really good and very light weight. Not going to cut down a 100 foot redwood but if you are using this you aren't/shouldn't be cutting down giants anyway.

Just to confirm what others are saying, this will not work with black and decker 20v batteries. Further, it will not work with kobalt 20v batteries either.

Depends on your usage. Good for camping or throwing in your truck. Keep an extra battery pack around if battery life is of concern otherwise go with a corded model.

This or a corded one? Really not fond of a battery life of up to 10 minutes max. Good enough for most jobs but hate the thought of waiting for a recharge if it's not enough.
