Basically I agree with you. I do think you're kind of unfairly thrashing the robust and time-proven U2412 though. Maybe just not put "settle" in all-caps?

Absolutely love this monitor but I got my refurb for $175 total (taxed and shipped) from Dell's outlet site back in 2016. $200 is kind of an okay price for brand new I guess now in 2019.
