Thanks for that information. That's incredibly dumb on Philips part. A 4K KVM is worth about $100. Without that functionality, it has too many weaknesses for the price point.

Dell U-Series are in a very broad range from consumer to professional, most will not hit the color gamut of your 5 yr old $1000+ 2K True 10Bit professional monitor.

It would require DP1.3+. usb-c, or thunderbolt, but I doubt the usb-c port supports daisychaining, and there is no usb-c out.
