I just couldn’t decide and picked up all three for $6 a piece. Not bad considering the price and makes my switch into a basic switch lite now... figure the dpad would be a good “beat em up” controller

Nope. They don’t “need” it. This is more if you prefer playing with a D-Pad AND is only good for portable mode. You can’t use it when you have the Switch docked to the Tv. This product has no power...
