I went all out and got Falken's new Wildpeak A/T Trail for my Subaru. Same price as replacing my G4 Pro's... so why not 😂

My experience with them in a very similar Honda is close to yours, however I find their soft sidewall to give me boat like ride. I totally agree that 40k miles is max what people should safely expect...

I have those for 20k miles and about to get them replaced. They are soft, and my car handles like crap. I had to increase tire pressure to 3 extra PSI to make them stiffer, but it comes at a price of...

I think for your area they will do the job. you don't have to deal with ice and snow. Just rotate/balancing every 7.5k to 10k. Supposedly the tires are good up to 45k.

How are these for summers? I’m thinking of these for the wife’s civic as well but we live in the southwest. So will not ever have to deal with snow and only just the occasional rain.

I got these tires on my Civic LX 2012. Not good at all during the winter(northern Illinois) like my old Michelin defender. Hopefully there is a deal on the Michelin X-Ice Xi3 on BF.

While I completely agree with you on the tires being an extreme safety issue, as it's the only contact between the car and the ground, I don't agree that the owners necessarily deserve their death....

D@mn. I paid slightly less than this for used tires w/ 50-60% tread remaining. I wouldn've rather done this deal instead.
