It is not Logitech’s fault. Thrustmaster has models for Xbox vs ps4 as well due to Microsoft’s and Sony’s requirements.

That is pretty much every wheel from every manufacturer. Blame Sony and Microsoft for charging substantial licensing fees. There are adapters available that let you use both.

If anyone has multiple systems, there are adapters that let you play across consoles and previous gen. Look up the brooke adapter and the ReaSnow Cross Hair.

Risk? You obviously bought a dud, you should have just had it replaced. Anyone who's used both knows that the T300 is built better than the Logitech.
