Yes, I use it for copying statements and tax returns, and other two sided documents.... if you want to go paperless you have to have a good duplex scanner.

Just curious, why do you need both sides to scan? It supports up to 50 automatically fed sheets for one sided scanning. Is there a disadvantage I'm not seeing?

i got my money back too from amex after dell decided to not fix it. parts for my printer were 'permanently backordered'. so now it is a 60 pound paperweight. have to figure out how to recycle it.
