Thanks, Originally I had a 3rd party seller but there is an option for a little bit more through Amazon UK directly and that one I am tempted on since there is more of a guarantee if something goes...

I ordered Ready Player One 3D from Amazon UK and received the 3D + 2D combo pack. EDIT: I just checked my order history and it looks like I went with a third party seller because it was...

Works just fine provided you stick with one that is at least fulfilled by Amazon UK, it just takes a bit longer to get here that's all. I've ordered from them several times with no issues.

A bit OT but it does involve a 3D title from Amazon UK so I am piggybacking on this thread with it since it is semi-recent. I have been looking for an affordable copy of Ready Player One 3D and I...

Arex thanks for the reply. I have the glasses (came with the TV purchase, 4 sets). Good to know about your opinion on the PS3. cheers

I assume you have the needed 3D glasses already? I used a PS3 for 3D Blu-rays for years before it succumbed to the yellow light of death and it seemed perfectly fine to me. I'm now using a Sony...

I read through the 4 pages of comments and appreciate the information shared. I just picked up a 3D TV off Craigslist (Panasonic TCL55et5 or such). I realized to now make it work w/ a 3d bluray that...

I'd think the HT1085ST should be a good projector, so perhaps plasmas are just sharper/better. I've never owned a plasma, especially after hearing about burn-in issues. I couldn't compare my BenQ...

I've got a BenQ HT1085ST for my 3D projector. Picture quality is great as far as I am concerned (though I admittedly have limited experience with projectors and have never done any side-by-side...

I only bought TVs and never watched anything on a home theater projector until they stopped making 3D TVs, so I researched projectors and people recommended various roughly $500 BenQ or Epson models....

It's technically possible to demux the 3D Bluray for Oculus Rift or HTC Vibe. It requires a complicated process and multiple pieces of slightly shady software. But it's amazing once you figure it. I...

Are these worth it if you are only going to watch 2D?

What about 4K players? I happen to have an LG UP970 from a couple of years ago and it's region free. For some reason I had it in my mind that most blu-ray players were becoming region free but it...

An 85" 3D plasma sounds like a good middle ground between the size benefits of a projector and the high contrast and inky blacks of plasma/OLED. I didn't even know they made plasmas that big. Nice!...

Does your Bluray player and TV support 3D -- then yes, you can play the 3D disc You can't play the 3D disc without a capable player (a rather large proportion of players made from 2011-2019 are 3D...

So if I want to play these discs in a run of the mill Blu Ray player in the USA?

Not sure what you mean by Large Format, but the Kuro Plasma did go up at least to 60in sets. Always a bit of a running argument whether the later Panasonic finally surpassed them in Pict Quality...

Thanks for the helpful reply with regards to the 3D disk. With regards to my lack of ownership of a Region Free player, I only procure for my personal use items I use. I’ve not had a need for a...

The 3D should play on any US player that is 3D compatible (PS3/ PS4, most mid and high end BD and UHD players) The 2D disc will not UNLESS you have a Region B player or a Region Free Modified...

So, am I interpreting your response correctly? Nightmare Before Christmas will play on a 3D capable PlayStation, or standalone US player? Only the BluRay is incompatible? I’ve got an 85”...
