I've been shooting with this camera for a year now. I recommend upgrading to a faster lens as soon as finances permit. My favorite all around lens in my current kit is the Lumix G Vario 12-35 F2.8....

It may be worth it just for the 12-60 mm lens, which is a lot more useful than 12-32.

I have both cameras and have to say the G7 is the best. Handling, grip and control layout is so nice. Picture quality is great on both.

If you don't need ibis and need a mic input, get the g7. Otherwise gx85. If you want the best of both worlds, g7 sized body, ibis, min input, weatherproofing you could probably find a g85 body + kit...

G7 lenses also have OIS, but I agree that GX85 is better camera due to lack of anti-aliasing filter, newer electromagnetic shutter (sharper pics and less shutter shock ), IBIS, and HDMI pass-thru....

I agree with you. When I mentioned the Sony offerings I was referring to APS-C. Full frame is overkill for most people.
