If you transferred those same 14000 points to southwest's site, you'd be able to get a ticket for around $210. Should be around 1.5 to 1.6 cents, not 1 + 20% = 1.2 cents

It'd only make sense if you were:
Booking a 6x ticket (the cheapest fares) AND were A-list preferred since that gives you double earning (so 12x)

So first your math is wrong.
You get 1.5 cents if you have the CSR.
So a $200 flight should only be ~13,333 points--- 16000 would be getting only 1.25 cents with a CSP.

This is not the same. the "travel funds" you get is only good for a year since original purchase date. I book most tickets in advance, so in my case this becomes much less than a year. Miles though...

Not to mention when you purchase using points on SW you can cancel your flight 15 mins before hand and get full points back instantly. Pretty sure you will be stuck with a voucher going through UR...

nvm i called back and they can do it. the flight i was looking at for my family was 64256 total points. if i transferred UR to SW directly, 61636 points plus $44.80.
