Folks considering this should also check out the hp envy 13 for $500 if they dont mind the slightly heavier weight. I believe it is 2.13lbs vs 2.8lbs.

I would add screen size/resolution on the 17" WQXGA (2560x1600). Looks amazing and comes in under 3lbs. I'm waiting for them to put a G7 processor in it.

LG claims Gram passed several military-grade standards, I think that speaks for itself. It's just not a mainstream laptop brand so it doesn't get popularity as the other three.
