Why these are still desirable when one cab get QLED at decent size? I am int the market and not sure of this decision. My max size for screen is 150 and I may have to settle at 120. 75" 4K was 750...

I was getting excited about this item. But the noise, band around the frame, bulb failure scared me straight. Don't have 1k lying around to gamble.

Looks like everything in the sub 2k range is trash - light frame issues, extreme fan noise, etc. Epson 5050UB appears to be best 4k "affordable" projector, but it's hard to drop $2700 on it.

how about the pixel shifting buzz? had the benq tk800 with hardly any fan noise but the pixel shifting buzz was very annoying

Great price for even a faux 4K projector. I’m upgrading from a 720p one so I’m in for 1. Plus good deals on the 4K receivers on amazon. Can report back if anyone interested.

I bought this few months ago for $1,150. This is a good projector. Only drawback is that it doesn’t work with Alexa/Google assistant.

This is a great projector, it uses pixel shifting to achieve 4K standards but it’s amazing. Fan noise is minimal. HDR is solid. At this price, this is a steal. I was even able to get the 3D to work...
