Take out the 4 gb, see if speed resolves. You can try changing their positions also.

Do you know if Costco 's HP 14" laptop (14-dq-033cl) that went on sale for $280 has XMP that can be enabled? I read if XMP can't be enabled, you can't get laptop memory running at 2666.

Current BF deal on Amazon, looks like the cheapest price ever. I have a 2x8 GB in my Alienware m15 and the better timings (15-17-17-35) can make a significant difference over the standard timings...
