AMD is the only one with pcie 4 support. Intel still on pcie 3, and is considering skipping and going directly to pcie 5. If anything, pcie 4 drives might the unicorn and always more expensive.

You could figure out what drive it has and find the specs on it. Keep in mind laptops do better with less power hungry and thermally conscious drives. This one generates a fair amount of heat.
