I've had 2 of these Wizz spreaders... The first one died when the battery tray got wet after spreading calcium chloride on my driveway after only a few uses. The 2nd one I used 1 time spreading grass...

I bought this a few months ago and would not recommend it. The seeds don’t spread evenly and it uses way more seeds than needed.

I use it to spread salt after snow. Works great.i change batteries about once a year. Yes you have to shake it to spread, but it doesnt behave like ur typical nagging spouse.

It’s not accurate nor does a good job in spreading seeds or fertilizer. Otherwise you will end up with patches of stuff all over the lawn. Maybe for salt like other said but definitely a waste of...
