Get the 3, it’s cheaper. See if you like/use it. If so, save up until at least Autumn when the series 6 will likely be released. An Apple Watch is not for everyone.....

The 4 is considerably quicker than the series 3. 4 also has a bigger face (44mm vs 42mm). These are meaningful differences.

Rizknows has some good reviews for fitness on the Apple watch. I would look out for a Series 4 on sale instead of the 3. The ECG sensor is worth it as is the fall detection.

The only major thing is that the 5 has the “always on” display. Other then that, all 3 series function the same.

OP, please note that shipping fee will apply, even with Warehouse pickup. Not sure how people are getting that for free. Takes watch back up to around $185 before tax.

It will work just fine. I'm using an Apple Watch 3 with my iPhone 11. You don't have to get a plan on the watch. In fact, you have to buy the cellular version of the watch to get a plan on it.

If you can find it. They are not carrying the series 3 anymore in the store so it's whatever is leftover. My store (Nashua) only a one 42mm for $220 left.
