Just oversize it unless you want the switch to be a fuse. Remember V=IR, P=IV 6 and 12V devices often use more current than you're conditioned to thinking about in the context of 120 or 240V. ...

Buy one that's rated for way more than what you might need and don't worry about it. :shrug: Math says 13A? Get a 20A or 30A switch. Not going to hurt anything.
