I agree, the Channelock design is outdated. I have both, this Channelock and a set of Irwin GrooveLock Pliers. The Irwin has the button adjustment, the jaw can slide up to fit the bolt/pipe without...

I have a similar 2-pack by this brand with just the medium and large size. I seem to have lost the larger, so replaced it with a Masterforce from Menards that was $12. It’s made in USA for anyone...

Why not wait a little more. This hit $7 last round. It had a beer opener not the screwdriver. Pliers are decent. Still made in merica. But quality is not merica.

Sorry they didn't work for you. Personally, I've had much better experience with the irwin "cobra" style than the channellock style with the flat Jaws. The steel on the Irwins is softer, but still...

Lowe's site will not allow me to ship to store, so it is their own fault if people abuse their shipping policy.

Yep, not in stock at a local store, in store pick up is greyed out, 5.99 to ship to home, only other option is truck transport, which is of course ridiculous for hand tools.

Well, the reality is that if your local Lowe's had them, you'd still have to go through the hassle of picking them up in store, anyway... so returning second set not much more of a hassle than...

Dude, I'm not abusing anything... I was referring to the fact that many Lowe's do NOT offer store pickup as an option. I checked and mine does not, either. So, UPS really doesn't charge much more...

Instead of abusing Lowe's shipping/return policies, and especially since you have to go there anyways for your scheme to work, one could just go there or order for store pick up in the first place.
