Not sure about PDX but you're probably not going to find any of those big airport problems at BFI, which is tiny compared to the mess SEA is.

It's a 2 hour 38 minute drive from BFI to PDX.
...or, drive/uber to the airport, find parking, pay $50 each way, get a rental car in seattle/portland. You'll probably end up saving a half hour...
