ya it is nice to have the option, but if only connect to a usb-c port, it's probably better to look for cheaper alternative.

I'm not sure what you're getting at here. As I said, you cannot output video over the USB-C ports, only the TB and displayport. Which means for someone who wants to use it with two USB monitors and...

I run a monitor with a USB-C to HDMI cable right from the back USB-C port with this very dock. There is no Thunderbolt port on the dock. It plugs INTO a TB port on your laptop, but there’s no TB out,...

I did a lot of research also previously and settled on the cheaper model ($199) from CalDigit (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VL675DT/) and it's working pretty well on my '19 MBP 16". I also...

If that works for you then great but I want a better desktop solution without dragging all those cords towards my laptop. Plus, that's a USB-C dock and not the faster Thunderbolt 3 dock. The...

This dock will output two displays. 1 over DP. 1 over thunderbolt 3 usb-c port (requires $10 usb-c to DP or HDMI cable off amazon)

I had this dock with a 13” mbp. Worked great. 13” was too weak so went back to the iMac. Sold both 13” and the dock. Moving fwd ended up buying the 16” since reviews were so great. Haven’t rebought...

biggest difference between two is the usb-c pro has no downstream tb port, so you can't daisy chain any tb3 device and instead you get more display options and a few of other port difference. Really...

You don't need full 96W to charge a 16" MBP under load. You would only need 96W if you also were using all the MBP's USB-C ports to power devices. When I'm docked, I generally connect USB devices...

No HDMI, no VGA, only 1 display port and the USB3 input to connect your computer is in the back of the case. I would think most people who will be using this are using laptops, so it would make more...

I wish there were a simple yet cheap dock with power passthrough, 4k @ 60hz hdmi (or I have a usb-c cable that I use now), and 2-4 USB ports. I can get 4k @ 60hz with a simple $14 cable, but even...

Have you found any particular moment it happens? I found two users who had this problem, but when testing it on the 16" MBP out of the box, I did not have any issues on the test machine.
