I've found most desks that have a tray don't have much room for the KB on top. Most gaming desks I have seen aren't very deep. I don't like playing with my face close to the monitor which is only 25"...

That's a bummer. Keep in mind that keyboard trays and hutches are pretty easy to remove yourself, typically just a few screws depending on the hutch.
