repped. I've used fogo, cowboy charcoal (sell in store at costco), royal oak but nothing compares to the flavor and longevity of the KJ charcoal. It is more expensive but it burns clean and lasts...

Decent deal if this is your preferred charcoal. The last batch I bought from Amazon came in boxes (bagged inside box) resulting in less breakage. This is a lower price though, ordering for summer.

+1 for Royal oak from price / performance perspective. I rarely use anything else but from time to time do use fogo (Large Chunks!!!) for low and slow cooks that last forever..
