they've got a felt film on the outsoles - same stuff Toms uses so they can import cheaper as 'slippers' and not 'shoes'. Pretty crap shoe either way. Tried to return and Woot refunded and recommended...

Got mine...for $10 they seem fine. Very slippery soles but I am assuming they will grip better when they get a little scuffing on the bottom.

Yep, I bought these a few weeks ago on Woot also, I think they were 12.99 at the time. They have been great. The material isn't as soft as All-Birds, but they do the job just fine.
