No. Food doesn't get burnt onto the glass. Cookwares don't rise to high enough temp to burn food. Spilt food still fresh after cooking.
My induction still looks new even after months of abused....

No. It doesn't. It doesn't get hot enough to burn a paper placed in between stove and pan (but don't do it) while cooking. So spills are still fresh even after youre done cooking. Clean up is...

Any suggestions for removing burnt on plastic? I think some plastic wrap fell on the stove when it was still hot, and nobody noticed until it cooled.

I've had good luck with that method on our glass cook top. If the baking soda/vinegar reaction isn't cutting into it, sounds like you're dealing with some gnarly stuff.

I use a pumice stone on my electric glass stovetop every two weeks. Seems fine to me. Sounds like handwashing your car each time vs going through an automatic car wash.

I have a similar question. Obviously if food spills onto the burner it won't burn on because there's no heat transfer, but if the food spills underneath the pan, would the heat from the pan "burn"...
