I have some concern about privacy as well for AdGuard but it seems to work well for ad blocking in Safari. I'm more concerned about using this for DNS protection using the AdGuard DNS, but without it...

Thanks for pointing out origin of the developer. This is one good reason for me to delete this app after 24 hrs. Also this app slow down lot of my apps that uses internet, slick deals, safari, CNN....

If it is on WiFi, you can block ads by simply setting Manual DNS to some ad blocking DNS. I use adguard. It’s free.

Close the app where Ads are coming up (CNN/BBC/Slickdeals etc)
Open the AdGuard app
Go to settings by clicking the gear icon in the right bottom
Select "DNS Protection"
Turn it On

What is the best way to set up the DNS? I typically use Cloudflare at the router level. Using the AdGuard DNS seems to break Slick deal links from working.
