I bought 2 PowerA controllers as spare controllers for visitors. The lettered buttons started sticking and failing to trigger after just a couple hours. Total waste of money.

If I am not mistaken, it plugs in via USB. So you will either have to plug it into the switch dock or you will have to get a USB-C to USB-A adapter to plug it directly into the switch itself for use...

Counterpoint to the post above, I have two of these and they've been great. No frills, wired, but very responsive and solid for the months I've been using them. I prefer these to the Joycons.

It's confusing because the picture shows the wire being pulled out of the controller. It's a wired controller, but you can unplug the wire from the controller for easier storage and transportation....

Windows 10 recognizes the inputs, you can calibrate the sticks however GTA V didn't acknowledge it at all. Not sure if it's a windows issue or a GTA V issue, haven't tried with any other games
