I f*cking hate Comcast. So the deal a few months ago was you can get unlimited for $20 extra a month, BUT only if you use their router/modem. Since I have my own it's $50 extra a month. They are such...

What good did that do? If the FCC gave a shit we wouldn't be left with a monopoly of Comcrap. I like Comcast internet speed but they are really the worst company to deal with and their prices for...

Huh. I was always under the impression that in Illinois we didn't have data caps, but after seeing this thread I checked my account and sure enough 1.2Tb. Apparently I went over that in May, must...

I have xfinity xFi , I saw that if you pay $11 more per month for xFi complete you get unlimited data. Please check if you are eligible for it. I noticed we were always going over the 1tb limit, as...

I've exceeded the cap in the past (burned a courtesy month, and 1 left), and I'm still showing one courtesy month.

Does anyone know what taxes and fees Comcast charges for the unlimited data add on vs xFi Complete. At $25 vs $30 xFi Complete seems cheaper, but the question is how much taxes and fees get popped on...

Sucks because I wasn’t aware of the data cap being back in place until they sent that email like a week into the month. At that point I was already at nearly 1TB

According to that FAQ if your state is NOT listed you don't have a cap. I live in MD with no cap (they are competing with Fios which also has no cap in MD)

Ajit Pai is as anti-consumer as is possible. He'll never do anything that might cut into the earnings of corporations.

Wow, that's a crappy limit. I was annoyed my connection gets throttled after 5TB and has a hard limit of 15tb. If you have a enough people in your household, you'd be surprised at how much your data...

Yeah, our household used like 1.8tb last month. Just streaming and games mostly. So we have to keep paying $25/mo for unlimited. No other reliable high speed provider here either, so we're stuck with...
